Good Morning –
Today is the 4th Sunday of Easter – and in spite of being lock-ed down again as a result of the pandemic, my hope is that you are finding joy in your life!
I have chosen two pieces of music that I hope will bring enhance this morning’s worship experience. Both hymns speak to God’s steadfast love and hold meanings that speak to God’s mission to the victims and the weak. The first is the well known and loved hymn Amazing Grace. The second is an African American Spiritual, It’s me O Lord standing in the need of prayer.

Announcements:
Church Reopening: With the number of Covid -19 cases on the rise, and the knowledge that it will be late in the summer before most members of the congregation will receive their second vaccination, session has taken the decision to defer public worship until after the summer. Sunday, September 12th is the target date for re-opening. This is the Sunday that we traditionally celebrate “Welcome Back Sunday” and it is our hope that this year we will have a wonderful grand celebration!
Finance Update: this week you will be receiving a message from our Treasurer. As we will not be meeting together until September, Session deemed it prudent that we communicate the financial position of the congregation on an on-going basis. Going forward Ken will providing this update. If you have questions or require clarification, please reach out to Ken!
If there is anyone who would like to have a pastoral visit, please reach out to me directly or mention your need to one of our elders.
With Blessings
Patrick
