Apologies for the later delivery of today’s service.
Good Day,
Today is the 7th Sunday of Easter! My hope is that you are able to get out this afternoon and enjoy what promises to be a pleasant day.
The reflection for today is entitled Blest to Bless. The music selections for this morning pick up on this theme of what it means for us to be blessed by a loving God.

Announcements:
Service of Remembrance & Hope: As is our tradition, on the last Sunday in May we will have our Service of Remembrance and Hope. And because we are unable to be physically present with each other, we are providing a way that all of us can share in a common activity with the hope that in our unity we will find support and comfort. We invite you to come to the church and spend time in the garden sometime between May 19_29, at a time of your choosing. A special reflection has been prepared that will guide you through a time of prayer and active remembering (there will be an envelope in the mailbox in front of the church). It is our hope that it will provide a deeper meaning and bring you a sense of comfort and peace.
Additionally, you are invited to send a picture (or pictures) of people who you will be remembering in a special way during the Service of Remembrance and Hope with a short memory of the person that is meaningful for you. The pictures and the memories will be used as part of the worship service. Please send your pictures and memories to Rev. Patrick by Monday May 24th at pastor@knox.16.com.
Church Reopening: With the number of Covid -19 cases on the rise, and the knowledge that it will be late in the summer before most members of the congregation will receive their second vaccination, session has taken the decision to defer public worship until after the summer. Sunday, September 12th is the target date for re-opening. This is the Sunday that we traditionally celebrate “Welcome Back Sunday” and it is our hope that this year we will have a wonderful grand celebration!
Monthly Finance Update: Below is the financial update upto the end of April. In a nutshell – revenues are down as a result of lost rental income, and expenses are being managed well. Your continued support is graciously appreciated.
…and as always, if there is anyone who would like to have a pastoral visit, you may reach out to me directly.
My hope is that you will have a good week knowing that you are held in prayer and the loving arms of God.
With Blessings
Rev. Patrick Gushue
