Help Preserve Oakville’s heritage

Knox Presbyterian Church Sixteen: A Pillar of Oakville’s History

Since 1846, Knox Presbyterian Church Sixteen has stood as a beacon of faith and community in Oakville, originally serving the early settlers of the now-vanished Proudfoot’s Hollow (today’s Lion’s Valley Park). Designated as a cultural landscape in 2020, the church and its adjoining cemetery remain integral to Oakville’s rich heritage, preserving the spiritual and historical legacy of our town. This cherished landmark needs your help to ensure it continues to serve future generations.
