Good Morning,
My hope is that this message finds you well and that you find joy in this day!
Please use this link for today’s worship.
Please note: the first 3 minutes and 34 seconds of the video has no audio. Please skip to 3:35 to hear from the start of the service.
I know that this message will not find everyone in the peak of health or with-out worries. There are a number of people in our congregation who are either preparing for or are recovering from surgery, as well as those who are concerned about the recovery of those within their family – as well as their friends. So, as we hope for well being, we pray for those who need to experience God’s healing power.
Church Reopening
As mentioned, the committee for reopening of the church has been meeting to determine how we can safely open our church for worship. The recommendation to open – as well as the necessary protocols that must be followed – will be brought forth for deliberation at the next meeting of Session which is scheduled for September 11th. If the recommendation is accepted public worship at Knox 16 will take place the following Sunday morning September 20th
Sermon Roundtable
The first meeting of the Roundtable took place on Wednesday, September. It was an insightful conversation which led us to delve into the messages of Scripture in a really interesting way. If you wish to learn more about the roundtable or are considering joining, send Patrick an e-mail and he’ll st you up!
Music for Worship
Today I have selected 3 pieces of music. I would suggest that you listen to the first two pieces prior to the video … and then listen to the 3rd selectionHelp us to help each other at the end of your time of worship. As you listen to this selection, I invite you to reflect upon the message of todays reflection and consider how you live out the message during the upcoming week.
- Morning Has Broken – Cat Stevens
- “Help Us Accept Each Other” – Fred Kaan
- Help us to help each other – Mark Templeton
With blessings,
Patrick
